Floating Leaves on Antique Fountain

Looking out of the window, I saw these leaves and petals from the Crepe Myrtle floating at the edge of the top tier basin of the antique fountain. The light was perfect. Ripe for the capture.

I immediately went outside and started clicking away. Each of the images requires for the viewer to linger for some time and explore. There is a distinct difference between the foreground and the background. The left side of the image and the right side of each image. The distinctive arrangement and reflections of the leaves and the flower petals in their various stages from freshly fallen to yellowing and decaying. The soft waves in the foreground of several of the images. The waves of the water, with ‘flames’ of color in the last image adds a new world of life and excitement.
