Walking along Pensacola Beach I came across this reclining nude. The dead tree brings to mind the abstract imagination of the artist Dali. The torso and legs are clearly visible. Thank you for all who has passed this tree many times and left it in this form for me too to enjoy.
These two pictures, titled; "Black and White in Color" were taken at night from a dock on Bayou Texar. The sky and water give a reflrction in gray tones. The electric lights add the color to the scene.
What a beautiful calm night, full of reflections on a bayou in Pensacola. Yes, those are stars in the sky above the masts of the boats. This photo has not been color adusted or altered from the camera's reception.
Night-time reflections of a willow tree on the mirror still waters of Bayou Texar. Even though the bare tree branches are lit and showing white, we do not have snow and really, it is not that cold also.
This extraordinary take-off of several pelicans were all at the same time and the end result is many different forms of flight represented with one click of the button on the camera. Taken from my kayak early one morning on Bayou Texar. The birds that sems to be black, were in the hadow of a bridge and the bright morning sun did not play kindly on their feathers. This picture is great for viewing on a computer screen. See more examples from this expedition in the SHOP section of this webpage.
