Often the heat of summer creates the feeling of seeing mirages in the heat vibration.  These wonderful yellow wild flowers on their delicate stems were magical to experience.  About 30 inches above the ground, a speckled carpet of single yellow blooms float.  The next layer included white capped Pitcher plants.  Lower down, greenery and other amazing specimens.  By focusing the camera on the front layer of plant growth, turned everything else into background.  The magic lives on, for me at least.
